International Student Orientation prepares students for traveling to and living in the United States. Currently the course includes two units:

  • Entering the United States, which covers what students can expect from Customs and Border Control Officers when they arrive in the United States
  • Understanding the United States Healthcare System, which explains how health insurance works and how students can access and pay for medical care in the US.

Due to COVID-19, the Fall 2020 International Orientation will be partially online. Preparing to Enter the United States should be completed prior to travel, but all other modules can be done after arrival. Details will be provided at our initial meeting on campus.
